Translation and related service costs can vary depending on several factors:

• how common the language combination is
• how qualified/experienced the translator is
• how technical the text is (i.e. how long it might take to research)
• how the source text is presented (e.g. a scanned PDF will take longer and cost more than a Word file)
• how urgent the request is (i.e. projects requiring overnight or weekend work will have a surcharge)

Because of this, each translation project requires a personal, customised quote, and not all translators or agencies would charge in the same way.
