For translation requests, there are a few things to bear in mind:

• Be specific. Tell me about your project, your needs, the goal of your translation, what you want from me.
• Give a timeline. When do you need your translation by? Is it urgent or can you be flexible?
• Provide materials. No quote can be drawn up without the exact text to be translated, which must be finalised (i.e. not a draft – future revisions to the source text will count as an extra service). If there is anything in particular I should know or use (e.g. a previously translated version of a similar document, a specific term or tagline you want included, etc.), please let me know.
